Ingredients
Serves 4- 2 pounds chicken wings (wingettes & drumettes)
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 cup Frank's RedHot Original Cayenne Hot Sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- salt (to taste)

Steps
- Step 1
Preheat the air fryer to 370°F. Lightly spray the basket of a 3-quart (or larger) air fryer with nonstick cooking spray.
- Step 2
Pat the wings very dry with paper towels, then season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Step 3
Place the wings in the basket in a single layer so they do not touch (cook in batches if needed). Cook for 10 minutes, then flip. Continue to cook for an additional 8 minutes, then flip again.
- Step 4
Increase the air fryer temperature to 400°F and cook skin-side up for 3 to 4 minutes, or until the skin looks golden and crispy.
- Step 5
While the wings cook, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Whisk in the hot sauce, vinegar, and garlic powder and warm just until smooth.
- Step 6
Transfer the hot wings to a large bowl. Pour about 3/4 of the sauce over the wings and toss to coat. Serve immediately with the remaining sauce on the side for dipping.
