Ingredients

Serves 2
Produce
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • Freshly chopped parsley
Proteins
  • 300 g (10.5oz) ribeye steak (chopped into 1 inch (2.5cm) pieces *see notes for alternatives)
Pantry & spices
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes (red pepper flakes)
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder (or use garlic salt, but omit the 1/4 tsp regular salt)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
Fats & oils
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil (I use avocado oil)

Steps

  1. Step 1

    Preheat the air fryer at 200C/400F for 5 minutes.

  2. Step 2

    Place the steak chunks in a bowl and drizzle on the oil.

  3. Step 3

    Sprinkle over the salt, pepper, chilli flakes, garlic powder, oregano and smoked paprika.

  4. Step 4

    Toss everything together to evenly coat, then transfer to the air fryer basket once it's preheated.

  5. Step 5

    Air fry for 6-8 minutes, tossing once halfway through cooking. The steak bites should be browned with a bit of a golden crust.

  6. Step 6

    Rest the steak bites for 2-3 minutes on a warm plate and then serve.
