Ingredients
Serves 6- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 cups diced unpeeled Granny Smith or Golden Delicious apples ((about 1½ medium apples))
- Optional: ½ teaspoon apple pie spice ((or ¼ teaspoon cinnamon + ¼ teaspoon nutmeg))
- ¼ cup chopped toasted walnuts or pecans
- Optional: ¼ cup shredded coconut, (toasted or untoasted)
- ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt, plain Greek yogurt, or sour cream
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup golden raisins

Steps
- Step 1
In a medium bowl, toss together the apples, raisins, and lemon juice.
- Step 2
In a separate small bowl, whisk together the yogurt or sour cream, mayonnaise, and brown sugar (if using). If you’d like to add warm spices like apple pie spice, you can stir them in at this point as well.
- Step 3
Gently fold the yogurt mixture into the apple mixture until well combined.
- Step 4
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Step 5
Just before serving, sprinkle with nuts and coconut, if desired.
