Ingredients
Serves 6- 1 large egg
- Optional, for serving: butter, syrup, fresh berries, whipped cream
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 1 ¼ cups club soda ((a 10-ounce bottle))
- 2 cups Bisquick

Steps
- Step 1
In a large bowl, whisk together the Bisquick, egg, club soda, and oil. Don't over-mix the batter. Stir just until the ingredients are combined. You will still have some lumps, which is fine. Let the batter rest while you preheat the waffle iron.
- Step 2
Cook the waffles in a lightly oiled waffle iron for 3-5 minutes each, or until cooked through and golden brown.
