Ingredients
Serves 4- 1 tablespoon minced fresh chives
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
- 4 cups sliced English cucumber ((about 1 ½ cucumbers))
- ½ cup whole buttermilk, shaken
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons distilled white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon salt

Steps
- Step 1
In a medium bowl, combine cucumber, red onion, dill and chives.
- Step 2
In a separate bowl, whisk together buttermilk, mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper. Pour the dressing over the cucumber mixture and toss to combine.

Cover and refrigerate for about 15-30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
