Ingredients

  • 1-2 tablespoon milk
  • ½ cup sour cream (room temperature)
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (room-temperature, softened)

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • pinch of salt

Steps

  1. Step 1

    Using an electric hand mixer, beat the softened cream cheese on medium speed until completely smooth.

  2. Step 2

    Sift in the powdered sugar and beat again until creamy and well combined.

  3. Step 3

    Add the sour cream, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt, and continue to mix until incorporated.

  4. Step 4

    Add the milk, one-half tablespoon at a time, beating until the dip reaches your desired consistency.

  5. Step 5

    Serve with fresh fruit such as watermelon, pineapple, grapes, cantaloupe, or strawberries, and with graham crackers if desired.
