
Nut Free Energy Balls
Makes about 12 energy balls. These no-bake energy balls are made by blending dates, coconut, cacao, chia seeds, coconut oil, and water, then rolling the mixture into balls.

Ingredients
Serves 12- 1 cup fine desiccated coconut
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
- 2 cups pitted dates
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds

Blend Ingredients
In a food processor, combine 2 cups of pitted dates, 1 cup of fine desiccated coconut, 1/4 cup of raw cacao powder, 1 tablespoon of chia seeds, 2 tablespoons of coconut oil, and 2 tablespoons of water. Blend for 10-20 seconds until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor.
- Blend for 10-20 seconds until smooth.

Transfer Mixture
Once blended, transfer the mixture into a mixing bowl to prepare for shaping.
- Move blended mixture to a mixing bowl.

Shape Energy Balls
Scoop out 1 tablespoon of the ground mixture and roll it in your palm to shape it into a ball. Set aside and repeat with the remaining mixture until all are shaped.
- Scoop 1 tablespoon of the mixture.
- Roll into a ball and set aside.

Serve or Refrigerate
You can serve the energy balls immediately or transfer them into an airtight container and refrigerate. They will keep well in the fridge for about 2 weeks.
