Ingredients
Serves 6- 1 shallot (finely chopped)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 tsp red crushed pepper
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2-3 slices bacon (roughly chopped)
- 2 tablespoons whole grain dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts (sliced in half)
- 1/3 cup dates (pitted and roughly chopped)

Steps
- Step 1
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2
Add all of the ingredients to a large mixing bowl and stir until well combined.
- Step 3
Pour the Brussels sprouts onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Step 4
Cook the Brussels sprouts in the oven for about 20-27 minutes or until the outside has begun to brown and become crispy and the inside of the sprouts is tender.
- Step 5
Serve immediately and enjoy!
