Steps
- Step 1
In a large bowl, mix the ground turkey, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika powder.
- Step 2
Divide the mixture into four equal parts and form each part into ½-inch thick patties. (Note: The raw patties will shrink while cooking, so make them about a half inch larger than the actual size that you want them to be.)
- Step 3
Transfer the turkey patties to the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to chill. This will help prevent them from falling apart as they cook.
- Step 4
When ready to cook, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
- Step 5
Place one or two patties in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they are fully cooked and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature.
- Step 6
Place a slice of cheese on top of the patty, then turn the heat off and cover the pan with a lid to let the cheese fully melt.
- Step 7
Repeat this process with the remaining patties.
- Step 8
Prepare each burger by spreading a thin layer of mayonnaise on the bottom of a burger bun, followed by a turkey patty, a slice of onion, tomato, lettuce, and pickles, and follow it up with the top bun.
- Step 9
Mix the ground turkey, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika powder in a large bowl.
- Step 10
Divide the mixture into four equal parts and form each part into ½-inch thick patties. (Note: The raw patties will shrink while cooking, so make them about a half inch larger than the actual size that you want them to be.)
- Step 11
Transfer the turkey patties to the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to chill. This will help prevent them from falling apart as they cook.
- Step 12
When ready to cook, preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Clean and oil the grill grates to prevent the patties from sticking.
- Step 13
Cook for 5-6 minutes per side or until they are fully cooked and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature.
